DUB
The new DUB technology revolutionizes the crank / frame ratio: a single crank arm and a single central pivot. With DUB, the combination of frame, bottom bracket and crankset is simple, and all components are stronger, stiffer and more durable. A noticeable improvement for the entire drivetrain. DUB replaces the previous GXP and BB30 versions and introduces a new pin with a diameter of 28.9 mm. A DUB crankset can be interfaced with any frame using the right bottom bracket.

X-RANGE TRANSMISSION
Modern road bikes are much faster and more versatile. Cyclists want a bike with a wide range of gears for all-round use. But they also want a transmission that offers the right gear for every situation. Sram has developed for the Force eTap AXS groupset an X-Range gear system with 2 sets of gears and 4 new cassettes that cover all the needs of cyclists, from WorldTour competitions to endurance and gravel. X-Range achieves its best ever result by shifting part of the gear range from the front of the transmission to the rear. X-range applies a smaller and more uniform difference (13 teeth) between the chainrings, while giving a wider range of cassettes (up to 10-33). This means you can stay on the same chainring for longer, requiring fewer front shifts, which are inherently less efficient than the rear ones. And when a forward shift is performed, the smaller jump is smoother and lets you hit the right cadence with fewer compensating shifts in the back. Fewer front shifts and faster allows you to find the right gear and this is a performance advantage over traditional transmissions.
