This versatile carbon road wheel is ideal for racers looking for the perfect balance of weight, aerodynamics and efficiency. New spokes and hubs give the Cosmic SL 45 Disc a light, lively feel for climbing and accelerating.
The rim is designed with a 45mm deep and 26mm wide NACA profile, specifically tuned for full performance on flat or hilly terrain. The new shape of the rim groove makes mounting tubeless and tubed tires as easy as possible. UST Tubeless riding means there's no inner tube, no friction, and more air volume for a smoother ride. The result is a faster ride with ultra-low rolling resistance. Refined spokes make this wheelset 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc. Combined with our all new Infinity hubs, for a fast and responsive feel of the wheels through every corner, they are stiffer and more efficient.
The Cosmic SL 45 Disc has been specifically designed for disc brakes, with an optimized spoke count and lacing. Available exclusively in the Center Lock version, they are compatible with 12 mm thru axles and can be converted to the quick release system thanks to the adapters included. They are available for Shimano and Sram XD-R cassettes and can be adapted to the Campagnolo system with an optional drive body.
These wheels are designed, engineered and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, and are 100% handmade in our European carbon factory.
