Tough enough for enduro, downhill, and weight-conscious enough for XC, Praxis MTN Wave ? they are machined from 7075 T6 aluminum and hard anodized for durability. Licensed and co-developed with Mountain Racing Products, the Wave? applies an alternating lateral force to each chain link to actively hold the chain on the ring, going beyond narrow/wide implementations that rely solely on friction, leaving room for mud, debris and sand to escape. Wave design? it also wears more slowly than competing models by distributing the load over larger surface areas.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Fits Praxis DM MTN cranks or other DM 3-Bolt cranks like Sram or Cane Creek.

Material: 7075-T6.

Mechanically manufactured with hard black anodizing for increased durability.

WaveTech tooth.

Displacement: 0mm.

Speed: 10/11S and 12S for both Shimano 12 and Sram 12.

COMPATIBILITY:

Fits Praxis Direct Mount MTB cranks or Sram 3-bolt style interface.

These updated Wave Tech teeth are compatible with 10/11 and 12S Sram/Shimano chain.

The rear derailleur must use a "Clutch" type rear derailleur. Example Shimano Shadow or Sram Type 2.

On very rough terrain, or just for sheer safety, Praxis still recommends the use of a top rail.
