Northwave Celsius Xc Gore-Tex Mtb Shoes Northwave Celsius XC GORE-TEX shoes are designed for winter cycling in temperate climates. The shoe is made of GORE-TEX Pique membrane, keeping the foot warm and perfectly insulated. An additional coating on the toe improves thermal insulation. Power transmission succeeds thanks to the Jaws Carbon Reinforced sole, with a stiffness index of 8.0, and a natural rubber heel for extreme grip on any surface. The upper features an overlapping construction that evenly wraps the foot without pressure points, helping to transfer every watt of power and eliminating energy leakage. In addition, TPU reinforcements provide strategic 360º protection across the entire upper. The SLW2 plate guarantees a quick and intuitive millimeter adjustment of the shoe. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the extreme flexibility of the GORE-TEX Rattler membrane with the high thermal insulation of the neoprene, ensuring mobility and protection. The wrapping and the positioning of the heel are made possible by an anatomical bottom and a solid thermoformed buttress, while the Arctic 4Layer insole, made of Eva + Aluminum + Eva + Pile, provides good thermal insulation.
